How to Gain Huge Traffic of Visitors on Your Blog
I was so shocked this morning after discovering that my blog post yesterday night, about Katrina Halili and Hayden Kho Scandal brought me a huge traffic and large tons of unique visitors (exags only :=> ) . Well I must admit that I only started posting articles on this newly setup wordpress blog a few weeks ago and from a newbie like me, it was an overwehlming experience to notice that I am gaining big traffic, and I am starting to see the fruits of my labor in studying and researching about SEO or keyword optimization. Moreso, the traffic that I am gaining right now is just a finger lick or even not in map of any statistical results comparing to the huge traffics that some problogger are gaining everyday. But inspite of that, I also found out that my Google Adsense is starting to earn dollars. Yeheey!
Of course before starting to post a lot of stories in your blog and if you are indeed decided to make money online, you should first create or setup a SEO friendly, preferably Wordpress flatform blog or website. Well it could help a lot depending on your analyzation. Its up to you, but since you are starting to read this post, I’ll force you to continue and to finish reading…oh so pathetic newbie! But I will also give some tips that I have gathered from reliable resources and based on experiences of some successful probloggers on how to gain huge traffic of visitors..
Firstly, yah I know it is right to highjack keywords and analyze thru Google trends. But what I did yesterday that made me realized one techniques on how to gain huge traffic, since the topic about Katrina Halili and Hayden Kho Scandal made a boom and big controversy in the Philippines showbiz, which started last week, so why not make a blog post like this.. ung mejo mainit init sa masa ( hotseat topics), that will surely gave a big impact to the viewers since everybody is so curious about the scandal video. See what happened, a lot of curious visitors came in my site just to see the said controversial video. So in short, the big tip here is to think for a latest issue, trendly words and fashionated experiences and make a blog post about it.
Second step that I did yesterday night was to submit my story in some social bookmarking sites like digg, propeller, del.icio.us, stumbleupon and many others. There are a lot of social bookmarking site that will suit your options. Of course you have to register with them first as a user before you can submit all your blog posts with them. I then noticed after that some of the visitors came from these social sites.
Third, I used my Twitter account. You tweet about this post and you will notice that some of your followers will be curioused about your topic and they will make a glance to visit the link from your site. By the way if you are interested to add me or to follow me on your twitter account. Just click the link here and I will appreciate so much of your following.
The fourth step was a vital part in optimizing a keyword, and that was thru Link building. I have a personal blog ( Jologs na Yuppie) and I contacted all my friends there and request them to link my keyword to optimize. Let say I’m optimizing Katrina Halili and Hayden Kho Scandal, I asked them to link my blog post using this as “anchor text” in their blogrolls. It is very important to communicate with a lot of people. This is one big way on how to gain huge traffic from your site. A constant communication with them like making comments on their sites, reviewing their works and continuous requesting of links to new friends that you are encountered in your everyday blogging.
Just continue with all these steps everytime you go online, much better everyday and you will notice that your post will be on the 1st page of the search engine result for that particular keyword. The more keywords on the 1st page, the more chances that a large visitors will come on your site. To tell you honestly, my blog post about that video scandal is not yet in the 1st page, but I will monitor and I will update you guys soon when it landed on the 1st page. Eventhough it not yet happened, gaining a big traffic of visitors today gave me a fullfillment feelings and inspired me more to pursue blogging and to make more blog post in the future.
