Google Voice Starts Operation to More Users

Last Saturday morning, I got a tweet update from my Twitter account, saying that Google Voice starts to invite its users. I became curious what Google Voice is since it is not quite popular in the Philippines. As I’ve researched from Twitter to Google, I found out that Google Voice is a useful product that will make a big trend among internet users for the next days to come.

For the information of my regular readers, Google Voice is a service that gives you a particular or single phone number to link all your phones and makes voicemail as easy as email. This application will then help you to manage your voice communications. This is essential to organize how people can reach you by phone. For instance, you can set up Google Voice to ring your home, mobile and office phones simultaneously, depending on their significant or priority level of calls and push all less important calls directly to a central voicemail inbox. There are also other features of Google Voice application and they include voicemail transcription, options to search your text messaging archives and the ability to call from the web itself, call conferencing, make international call and even more.. Meanwhile, Google Voice is beginning to be offered to former GrandCentral Users only. If you requested for an invitation on the Google Voice site, please check your email regularly, as they might sent you already an invitation. My question is..If this Application will be available for a wide range of users, will this be a big boom to the Internet User population of the Philippines?
