Great News: 0% Balance Transfer Credit Card Promo from HSBC

This is indeed the latest trend and promotions I’ve discovered in one of the biggest credit card companies in the Philippines. Have you seen the 0% Balance Transfer Credit Card Promo from HSBC?For a regular credit cards user or those Filipinos out there who almost spend their times in using their credit cards in shopping at mall, availing of appliances and gadget super paylite promos, dining in restaurants and bars, booking for travels and trips promos, I have a good news for you and I am sure that after reading this article, you’ll might be interested now in applying for such a great offered of HSBC.

Last few days ago, I featured here an articles on how you can apply for a no annual fee credit card. After posting that useful article many of my friends now became interested in applying for a no annual fee credit card considering the fact that they will be waived for an annual membership fee when they’ll be approved to avail a new credit card. Now I’m here to give you a great way to identify different promos you must avail when you use your card anywhere. And my first special promo to discuss is the 0% Balance Transfer Credit Card Promo.

The 0% balance transfer credit card promo is so helpful for a “carded” customer, meaning you own or you have 2 or more credit cards from either same credit card company or with different companies.

Yes indeed, that “balance transfer” offers a unique and a versatile function to eliminate or reduce high interest debt of a cardholder from a credit card company. Most of the cardholder apply for a balance transfer to other bank for some reasons. First, they may not be happy as of the moment of the present features and promos of their credit card. Second, if a cardholder has a huge outstanding balance to be paid in one particular credit card, what he/she will do is to transfer the outstanding balance to other credit card company and will pay their dues into a low monthly amortization schemes with adds-on fixed interest for a certain number of months or period. And third, they can avail some fringe benefits or complimentaries from availing of such kind of promo.

So if a certain company will offer a 0% Balance Transfer Credit Card promo, it means that many cardholder availing of a regular balance transfer will shift into this great offer. Of course many cardholder as much as possible want to avoid paying of adds-on interest. And they might get some fringe benefits like earning reward points and a lot more.

Now HSBC I think is the first credit card company to offer this kind of promo and I hope that other companies will follow this kind of promo scheme. I am not a member of the said bank. I just want to share this to my fellow friends who are using their credit cards regularly. And who are having some problem with their increasing debt from credit card usages.

If you have an existing HSBC Credit card, a pamphlet is usually enclosed in your latest billing statement. If you don’t have yet an HSBC card, then I shall suggest or recommend you to apply for a credit card with them and transfer your other credit card outstanding balance with them for a 0% interest.

Now what are you waiting for, in times of this crisis, this is a big help for us to tight our budget and save more money. Why not avail a 0% Balance Transfer Credit Card promo? For more information, you can check the website of HSBC to get a copy of application form and know the requirements, terms and conditions. You can also contact their hotlines at (02) 85-800 for Metro Manila or 1-800-1-888-8555 for domestic toll-free where available. Promo period is May 12 to July 31, 2009

I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about this company. Personally, I think the 0% balance transfer is a good idea. I alread have two credit cards from the same company (not HSBC) and would always complain about the higher interest rate on one card compared to the other. Plus, I had to check which credit card has more expense so, I try to use the card that has less credit. LOL
