Manny Pacquiao is the Fighter of the Year
Every Filipino now is very proud and happy because Manny Pacquiao was hailed as the Fighter of the Year 2008 by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) this Saturday.
Pacquiao reportedly has his second thoughts of personally receiving his second Fighter of the Year award from the BWAA, arrived last Friday morning together with his wife Jinky to received the award. Almost all the fans are there to witness his arrival and to personally congratulate him for his achievement
Manny Pacquiao received a standing ovations and his speech was applauded many times. All the judges around the world has a unanimous decision on giving the Fighter of the Year Award to Manny Pacquiao.
Meanwhile, Freddie Roach was also a winner of the Trainer of the Year Award for the third times. He was so grateful and honoured that he has trained Manny Pacquiao.
As of now, it is not yet confirmed who is the next opponent of Manny Paquiao but a concrete humors arrived that it will be a Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather biggest fight before the end of this year.
