SWIFT Code List of Philippine Banks
SWIFT Code is use to transfer or send money to your family from abroad to Philippines or vice versa. This money transfer is applied through Wire transfer. If you will apply for a wire transfer in a certain bank, definitely the teller will ask you for the SWIFT Code of your Beneficiary’s Bank.
SWIFT stands for Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication. All Philippine Banks( whether commercial banks, private banks or foreign banks) or even banks worldwide are assigned with one unique 8 Character for their SWIFT Codes. Whenever they want to assigned it with their branches, 3 alpha numeric characters are usually added to their original SWIFT Code.
