Google Doodle: The Sesame Street Characters Series

I was so mesmerized these past few days when I saw the Google Doodle that feature different characters from the Sesame Street. It helps me to reminisce my childhood days and remembered that one day, I became an addict fan of Sesame Street and that I always watch the famous children show every morning.

The reason why Google is doing this maybe because of the celebration of 40th anniversary of Sesame Streets which is on November 10. Sesame Street was considered as the longest running children show in United States. And up to now, many children still love to watch this show. What really amazed me so much is the everyday change of Google Doodle which featured the different characters each day.

Today, it was scheduled to feature Oscar the Grouch as I have seen in the main page of Google. Oscar as I remembered is one of the Muppets of Sesame Street which was characterized by a green body and live on garbage or in a trashy like. His main house or home is on the garbage can and his favorite song is “I Love Trash”.

Yesterday, my favorite Sesame Street characters were being featured in Google Doodle and they are the partners Bert and Earnie. As far as I know, they are one of the most popular characters in Sesame Street. They are besfriends and room mates. They were characterized by a round tongue and eyes which helps a lot to be loved by children.

Cookie Monster was also featured in Google Doodle last 2 days ago. The characters two big eyes helped me a lot to identify his character which I remembered before that I was so afraid everytime I saw him on television.

O I’m so happy to remember those characters and at the same time reminisce my childhood days watching this favorite show. Now I concluded that this show really entertained me so much many years ago and I am hoping to get copies of the video clips these next few days just to watch it again. Isn’t it fun? Now, let us all expect more characters on the next few days to be featured on Google Doodle until November 10.
